The Human Harmony Music Academy has recently become a non-profit portion of Human Harmony that is recognized in the State of Washington and on the non-profit database.  This status change will allow us to better serve the community by now being able to receive funds to fully develop our music programs and curriculum, find and secure a permanent facility, and more importantly, now be able to invest donated monies towards underprivileged children who would not have been able to afford this training otherwise.

Human Harmony Academy has birthed a music academy that is teaching Community Choir ages 6-14.  We also offer  beginning piano and/or vocal techniques. With the overall Human Harmony mission of empowerment, each lesson is geared toward bringing out each students unique strengths and goals, and is molded to their personal learning styles.  It is because of this empowerment method that Human Harmony Academy drew the attention of the #1 ranked Middle School music department, Washington Middle School (Seattle). Washington Middle School‘s Parent/Guardian organization, Friends Of Music,  has now partnered with Human Harmony Academy to create a program that is focused on the hard task of diversifying their music department. The Human Harmony Academy participation grows every month and soon will be hiring additional music teachers who specialize in other instruments to offer a wide range of music choices to the community. We are also partnering  with the parks and Recreation centers to start offering kids a place to receive scholarships programs. We currently are at Rainier Beach Community Center.

For ages 6 to adult beginner and intermediate. Learn how to read music. Learn how to play piano by ear.
Mr. Davis is well aware that playing an instrument is study tested to increase academic performance, by honing skills that allow students to succeed.  While more than 75% of musicians  studied the piano prior to selecting a band or orchestra instrument, it is a fact that piano lessons are not regularly offered to the children in our community.

Human Harmony wants to balance the odds by offering beginning piano lessons to our youth. Pulling from his past experience as a late musical bloomer, Mr. Davis also promotes adults to achieve their musical dreams. “It is never too late to learn a new craft.”  He finds that adults need a hobby, or skill that will allow them to take time for themselves. Offering adult beginning piano lessons has given many adults the inspiration and energy to keep enjoying life.

Because this is an extremely focused group we only want youth  who have expressed a real interest in music and the arts. The emphasis is on enjoyment, the choir providing a once a week opportunity for those who love music to give their time gifts and talents to sing.
